One moment happened last week. Colleen wanted to watercolor and I decided to get Kate in on the action (OK, I really just wanted to distract them for awhile). Anyway, I gave Kate a little cup of water (1/4 inch), a paintbrush and construction paper and let her at it.
I was surprised at how well she dipped the paintbrush and how well the water showed up on the paper. I started to think that I should have just given her some paints too until she put her paintbrush in her mouth.

Oh my, she really is cute. I love her cheeks in the last picture. I am copying this idea.
You rock as a mom! Thought I'd let you know. It's funny how we need to remind ourselves of this.
