Background:
A group of girls have put together a Fun With Food Storage Network. One group focuses on the getting, storing and organizing of food storage, one with bargain shopping and one with cooking with your food storage. I have gotten some really good ideas from the cooking site. Her most recent post is a no-yeast-super-fast wheat bread that I want to try. She also has a cookbook which should be published by the end of the month.
Anyway, Julie and Jodi have put together a binder of their baby steps food storage program and tips and they are giving away 10 copies. I copied their description of the binder below.
What is included in the Binder?
- Instructions for how to make it cute and functional, exactly like ours!
- ALL 26 BabyStep Checklists (no more waiting for the next list!)
- 100 pages of detailed information about each of the ten BabySteps
- Our very best posts, handouts, and extra information
- All the spreadsheets and documents you need to plan your 3 Month and Long Term Food Storage without needing a computer
- Recipe Appendix including all 33 recipes that we encourage you to try out in the Checklists
- Sections for additional research and personal notes to be added in
- Cute cover pages and dividers (because you know we have to make it fun)
I have already downloaded their Excel worksheet and it gives you a great and easy idea of what you need to store and how much.
Check it out and enter their contest. They are also having a Wonder Mill Grain Mill giveaway in the near future. That is the one I want to win! (I wonder if they want a Food Storage Through Gardening "Expert"?)
P.S. I can't get the links to show in a different color. If you move your mouse around though you should be able to find the links to the different sites and the recipe link.
