Baby Names

Traditionally we decide on baby names moments before leaving the hospital. We will probably stick to that tradition, but here are some of our ideas so far. Let us know what one you vote for or if you have any other ideas. The top 4 are our favorites so far. If the name was someone's specific idea/they are the only one who REALLY likes it, their name is in parenthesizes next to it.

Erin/Aerin
Katherine (Call Kate)
Rebbecca (Call Becca)
Sarah Jane/Jane

Grace
Marie
Ruby (Leila)
Rose/Rosemary
Daffodil/Tulip (Aleah)
Diamond (Aleah)
Taylor (Emily)
June (Emily)
Madeline (Brian)
Mirsada (Brian)
Claire/Clara (Leila)
Susan/Suzie/Susanne

Susan/Suzie/Susanne are some of MY favorites for my own next girl . . . but you can never go wrong with a Becca.

Sarah and Jane are on our future possibilities list, so I vote against those. :0)

But I also love Grace, Rosemary, Madeline, and Claire/Clara.

please, no daffodil either. No Daffy Gardunia! Just say no.

And just say NO to alternate spellings. Erin good, Aerin bad. That would be a life time of educating people how to spell your name.

I also like Becca but have to vote agaist Jane....Because I want to use it in the case we have another child and that child is a female.

Sorry guys, I liked Olivia as a name (I know you did Alivia).

No options are off the table. I do not negotiate with in-laws.

That being said we have had Sarah Jane on the short list for the last two girls and it hasn't made it so you are probably ok.

Ugh! I hate it when Brian is logged in and I comment under his name. That was me, Leila

I like Aerin-- like from the hero and the crown. Big shoes to live up to. It would be really cool to name her Aerin dragon slayer Gardunia.

I like Katherine but I would call her "Kitty' because I am funny that way. I also like Jane.

I think picking out baby names is the funnest thing inthe world!! I don't have a problem naming a kid something somebody else in my family has already used. I am glad you feel that same way, Leila. I think if you really love a name you should use it no matter what.
