Yesterday...

Yesterday we kicked off summer by going to the splash park.  I thought our local pool would open yesterday, but we still have a week to wait.

 Kate was so fun to watch.  

 She would step on one of the little fountains and then run away laughing her head off.

Colleen would run though the water - with her head down!

Fun times.  Although Colleen kept on asking when it was time to go because we were going to meet up with some friends for a mini B-Day party in the park afterwards.  I kept on saying, "We are going to play here for  awhile longer, then go get some lunch, buy some paint and then the park.  If we went to the park now no one would be there."  It's not easy being four.  ;)

But at last lunch was eaten, paint was bought and we ate cupcakes, blew bubbles and played at the park with friends.
