It's a Girl!

Last week we went in for an ultrasound.  The baby is healthy, approx 13oz (so why have I gained 10lbs?!?) and a girl.  There was a bit of disappointment that she wan't a boy, but you don't really get a choice and as Brian points out to people who say we can try again, "It isn't like a lotto ticket.  You don't keep on buying and scratching and you haven't lost."

I am due September 19th and they plan on inducing a week early.  Because of our earlier stillbirth the doctors like to deliver in a controlled environment.  That's fine with me - it makes finding a babysitter for 4 girls much easier.

PS   If you want to see pictures of a new baby quilt I made for her, hop on over to my other blog.

She willed be as beautiful as the rest of them, I'm sure. I hope we can come visit soon (next year maybe?) and meet this little one in person.
