Thankful-Bots

Tonight we made Thankful-bots. I totally stole this idea from Becca - seriously, check out their Valen-bots. The kids had a blast making their robots and then we wrote what we were thankful for on slips of paper and put them inside the robots. The plan is to keep on putting in more slips of paper in until Thanksgiving. Our neighbor friend's robot. Complete with ipod and cell phone.
Emily's robot with a slit by the neck to put her papers in.
Aleah's sitting robot with a party hat - can you tell someone's birthday is coming up?
My robot and Colleen's robot - yeah, I totally helped/made it for her but isn't he cute?
Brian's masterpiece. Bonus points for anyone who can name the robot it represents.

Edited: Here is a picture of a Dalek from Dr. Who.

Yes. I love being flattered and referenced on someone else's blog.

Great FHE idea. Brian's robot looks like Homesar, but I don't know if you guys are homestarrunner fans. It also looks like those aliens that say "yepyepyepyepyep" on Sesame Street. I want to know what/who it is.

I think Brian's is a robot off of the Show "Doc How". I dont know if Brian has even her of the show. But Very Fun FHE.

It is obviously a festive Dalek, from Dr. Who.

As a complete scifi geek it was the first thing I thought of, even though they aren't true robots - they are mutant cyborgs from the future.

I love Homestarrunner, but it has been a while since I watched it. My favorite was the anime one or the dragon or Teen Girl Squad.

But, I've never seen Dr. Who, so I have an excuse...
