Aleah turned 6 this week. I thought I'd take a moment to tell you all about her.
Aleah is a sensitive girl who still runs out out the room covering her ears in the tense moments of any cartoon. She loves to snuggle and will get all clingy and crazy when she is tired or thinks you are grouchy at her (which makes me more grouchy). She isn't a morning person if you try to wake her up for school, but when she wakes up on her own she is bright and cheery. She has the best posture of anyone in the family.
Aleah has a peanut butter and honey sandwich and apple (no peels, please) almost every day for lunch. Her favorite parts of school are art and music. She wants to be an artist just like her art teacher Mrs Hanson when she grows up. Her least favorite part of school is when her teacher Mrs Campbell has to yell at them because they are noisy. Aleah didn't like recess at first but now that she has made some friends she loves it. She is the best writer and sounder-outer I know. I bet she'll be reading in no time.
Aleah is not totally perfect. She has picked up the habit recently of chewing on a little piece of her hair. She also screams (very loudly) when she gets frustrated or mad at her sisters, but we still love her. :)

I think she and Brig would get along very well, though he is not nearly as tenderhearted as she is. He laughs during the scary/mean parts on movies. But he is turning six next Monday, and is also amazing at sounding out words and being creative.

I think in my brain she has been perpetually 4 years old, so when I read the post title it totally caught me off guard. What a cutie she is.
