The fast and furious update

This week Aleah lost her first top tooth.  Very exciting!

We also got our first snow of the year - it is gone now.

Flash back to Halloween - These pictures were from the ward party.  Kate as a witch.  She never let go of Brian.  After Trick or Treating on Halloween she couldn't stop talking about "sca-wee costumes."
Emily with her friend Sarah.  She was a quidich player for the ward party, a cat for school and a witch for trick or treating.  Got to love the dress up box.

Colleen was a bundled up princess on all occasions.

And always beaming Aleah was a witch (school), cat (party) and panda bear (trick or treating).  The funny thing about it is that she wore the same thing on her body she just traded out the ears for a witches hat and a panda hat and white fleece sweater.

Brian has been working tons and I have been sewing tons.  Here is a baby quilt I just sent off in the mail to Charlotte for their new baby to be.

What do you use as batting in your quilts? Do you do your own finishing. I can't think of the official term, you know the stitching on top.

I love Halloween pictures of kids. It is so American and wholesome . . . even with its creepy elements, there's something magical about dressing up. And that quilt is beautiful, but its got nothing on baby Calvin's CHICKEN QUILT a la Leila G!
